Setting off at a leisurely pace, we will venture off from our launch site at Matilda Bay, and make our way across to the famous Blue Boat House while enjoying exquisite views of Perth City. You’ll get to view the Crawley Boat Shed from a totally unique angle!  Then we’ll cycle around the Statue of Eliza and the foothills of Kings Park Botanical Garden.

You’ll have time to be amazed by the majestic pelicans and other bird life and you may even spot a mantaray or two in the water. You’ll also be able to learn about the importance of biodiversity for our marine and bird life in the Swan River and Matilda Bay Reserve.

Tour Info

Prior to your tour, please meet at our launch site, between the boat ramp and the Matilda Bay Restaurant. Our site is on the foreshore and parking is available.

At our launch site, we will warmly welcome you, fit you with a life jacket and provide a full safety briefing. You will then hop onto one of the  waterbikes for a brief practise, before departing.

For the photographers and selfie lovers, we do stop en-route for photo opportunities so that you can capture all kinds of memories along the way.  While you glide away on the water, our guides will also share some FUN facts with you.

We do provide waterproof dry bags for your valuables, i.e. mobile phones, cameras and wallets. For sunset cruises, it can get a bit nippy on the water so we would advise you to bring a jumper with, just in case. Our waterbikes are equipped with little baskets on the front, but they aren’t big enough to hold a big backpack so, if possible, please rather leave these in your car.

There aren’t too many rules while you’re water cycling with us, but we do ask that you respect the area and the wildlife that you may encounter on your tour. Aside from that, have fun and enjoy the peace, stillness and serenity of your surrounds.

Amazing, friendly, safe, fun, chilled activity great for the family or group of friends getting together. Felt very well looked after and will be back again to do this with more friends very soon!

– Carol Alty –

Awesome from start to finish – complete with friendly guidance from the owner! We had so much fun cruising along the Swan River, past boats and birds, with views of Perth city. My 10 year old nephew was thrilled, and something about that water was so relaxing and refreshing for the adults too.

We went out on a semi cloudy day but it was still brilliant. Highly recommend for anyone. Learning didn’t take long – it’s pretty simple – with backwards pedalling to stop. Just make sure you start peddling before you want to turn the steering. There is a choice of a reclined bike or a stand up one.

As soon as we left, my nephew was asking to go again, and I honestly can’t wait to experience this for a second time. Thank you!

– Lexi –

Beautiful way to relax on the water in Perth. The bikes are a great invention, very easy to use and stable.
We saw hundreds of harmless jelly fish floating around us in the water, and on our way back a dolphin dove out right in front of us!
Staff are super friendly.
Highly recommend to everyone.
